Samsung India has exciting news for Galaxy smartphone users. The latest update to Samsung Wallet brings a host of features, including access to essential Digital IDs and documents, seamless payment options, and enhanced security measures.
Samsung Wallet’s Key Features
1. Access to Over 2,000 IDs/Documents
Users can now access a wide range of essential IDs and documents directly from Samsung Wallet, all without any information being stored by Samsung. This ensures enhanced privacy and convenience.
2. Travel-Ready Convenience
Travelling has never been easier. With Samsung Wallet, users can present their proof of identity and travel documents at airports directly from their smartphones, making it highly convenient.
3. Development and Security
The new features of Samsung Wallet are developed by a dedicated team at the Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore. The platform prioritizes security with advanced methods like tokenization and Samsung Knox, providing defense-grade security for users’ personal and financial information.
Samsung Pay using Samsung Wallet
With the integration of Samsung Pay into Samsung Wallet, users can now enjoy a simple and secure payment method. Making payments is effortless, with just a swipe or tap using their Galaxy smartphones.
Samsung Pass integrated with Wallet
Samsung Wallet also includes Samsung Pass, which offers easy access to apps and services through saved passwords and biometric authentication, streamlining the user experience.
Samsung Knox Protection
For added protection, Samsung Wallet utilizes Samsung Knox, a defense-grade security platform. Sensitive information is stored in an isolated environment, the embedded Secure Element, ensuring safety against digital and physical hacking.
SmartThings Find with Samsung Wallet
Even in the event of a lost phone, Samsung Wallet remains protected by Samsung Knox and biometric authentication. SmartThings Find allows users to remotely disable Samsung Wallet and lock their device, adding an extra layer of security.
