Google has announced the launch of Google Startup School 2023 in India, aiming to foster the growth of startups beyond the major cities. In collaboration with Startup India, this virtual program is set to commence on July 11, 2023, following the overwhelming response received during the previous edition.
The eight-week program aims to reach an impressive number of 30,000 startups, providing them with tailored knowledge and mentorship. With the participation of over 30 experts from Google and the industry, including transformative entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and industry leaders, Startup School 2023 aims to equip startups with essential skills for success.
The curriculum will cover a wide range of topics crucial to startup growth, such as AI, product and tech strategy, marketing and global expansion, as well as funding and leadership. Notable figures leading the sessions include Bikram Bedi, Managing Director of Google Cloud India; Aastha Grover, Vice President of Invest India and Head of Startup India; Vani Kola, Managing Director of Kalaari Capital; and Ashish Kashyap, Founder and CEO of Indmoney.
The program serves as a platform for startups to innovate responsibly, learn best practices, and thrive in India’s unique ecosystem. It also recognizes emerging startup hubs in cities like Indore, Madurai, and Gorakhpur.
