Sanjeev Jeeva, a notorious gangster and associate of the prominent gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari, was killed in a shooting incident outside a Lucknow court. The attack took place during a hearing at the SC/ST court, where an individual disguised as a lawyer opened fire, resulting in the death of Sanjeev Jeeva and an injury to a young girl. The assailant has been identified as Vijay Yadav and has since been apprehended by the Lucknow Police.

Dreaded gangster Sanjeev Jeeva met his demise on Wednesday when he was shot dead outside a Lucknow court. The fatal incident occurred within the premises of the court, where an individual, masquerading as a lawyer, unleashed gunfire. As a result, Sanjeev Jeeva lost his life, and a young girl also suffered injuries.

Sanjeev Maheshwari Jeeva, known for his close association with gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari, was a co-accused in the murder case of BJP MLA Brahmhadatt Dwivedi. Mukhtar Ansari himself faces charges in the same case.

Preliminary reports indicate that the shooter arrived at the court disguised as a lawyer and targeted Sanjeev Jeeva, firing fatal shots. The suspect responsible for the attack, Vijay Yadav, has been arrested by the Lucknow Police.

It is worth noting that Sanjeev Jeeva, a feared criminal, was scheduled to appear in court for a hearing related to a separate criminal case. He had been implicated in various other criminal activities as well.

Additionally, a police constable sustained injuries during the assault and has been transported to Lucknow Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

In response to this tragic incident, heightened security measures have been implemented at the Lucknow court premises.

Sanjeev Jeeva’s journey began as a compounder, but he soon became entangled in the world of crime. Notably, he maintained a close affiliation with Munna Bajrangi, a fellow criminal who was killed in 2018 while serving time at Baghpat prison.

As the investigation into the shooting continues, authorities aim to uncover the motives and circumstances surrounding this brazen attack.
