Barrage-cum-Bridge Development
Design approval for the Barrage-cum-Bridge project is expected to take an additional 6 months. The delay in approval has been attributed to the Irrigation and Roads & Buildings departments. The estimated cost for this phase of the project is between 200 to 225 crore rupees.
Roads and Connectivity
As part of Phase-2, a 5.8 km road will run parallel to the Sabarmati River, providing a direct connection to the rear of the SPV Sports Complex, where the renowned NaMo Stadium is located.
This phase also encompasses road infrastructure to establish direct links with key locations:
- The Airport
- NaMo Stadium
- Bullet train station
- Sabarmati railway station
