Central Railway (CR) recently announced the immense success of their Vistadome coaches, with over 63,000 passengers enjoying their services across nine trains.
Additionally, the Vande Bharat Express trains operating on the network have also attracted significant crowds, as per railway authorities.
From November 2022 to April 2023, the Vistadome coaches recorded a total of 63,307 passengers, generating revenue of Rs 8.41 crore for the CR.
Notably, the Pune-Mumbai Pragati Express witnessed an occupancy rate exceeding 100 percent in the installed coach while traveling from Pune to Mumbai.

Furthermore, the latest data from Central Railway highlights the impressive occupancy rates of Vande Bharat trains in May 2023.
Among the three Vande Bharat Express trains operating on the network, the Solapur-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) train achieved the highest occupancy rate this month.
The other two semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains operated by Central Railway run on the Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi and Nagpur-Bilaspur routes.
The Solapur-CSMT Vande Bharat Express registered a remarkable occupancy rate of 125.23 percent, followed by CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat Express at 119.45 percent in the current month, as stated in a release.
The Bilaspur-Nagpur and Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express trains reported occupancy rates of 97.92 percent and 95.08 percent, respectively.
CSMT-Sainagar and Sainagar-CSMT Vande Bharat trains recorded occupancy rates of 93 percent and 84 percent, respectively.
The CSMT-Solapur and CSMT-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat trains were inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 10, 2023.
Previously, the Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Modi on December 11, 2022.
