In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024 (Q1, FY24), India witnessed a significant growth in smartphone exports. According to the latest data, the total export value for smartphones during this period amounted to 30,768 crore. This marks a substantial increase compared to the export value of 14,923 crore recorded in the previous fiscal year, FY23, representing a remarkable growth rate of 100%.
The month-wise breakup of smartphone exports in Q1, FY24 is as follows:
- In April, smartphone exports amounted to 8,940 crore.
- In May, the export value increased to 11,904 crore.
- In June, the export value slightly decreased to 9,924 crore.
