₹480 crore Riding on the Rights of Jawan and Dunki
Excitement among fans is soaring as reports reveal that the rights for both of Shah Rukh’s upcoming films, Jawan and Dunki, have been sold for a staggering amount of ₹480 crore. According to the report, “The rights for Jawan, including digital, satellite, and music, have been sold for approximately ₹250 crore. The rights for Dunki have been sold for about ₹230 crore, making it the highest individual sale for any film to date.”
Pathaan’s Success
Pathaan, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in his first leading role since the 2018 film Zero by Aanand L Rai, shattered numerous records in the film industry. The rights for Pathaan were sold for approximately ₹100 crore, and the film is currently available for streaming on Prime Video. With stellar performances by Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and a cameo appearance by Salman Khan, the film grossed around ₹543.05 crore in the Hindi version alone. Pathaan was also released in Tamil and Telugu.
About Jawan
Jawan, a thrilling action film, is directed by Atlee Kumar and features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, and Thalapathy Vijay will make special appearances. Shah Rukh Khan is rumored to portray a double role in the movie. About Dunki
Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, marks his first collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu and is co-written by Rajkumar, Abhijat Joshi, and Kanika Dhillon. It is set to release on Christmas this year.
