The much-awaited list of contestants for Bigg Boss OTT 2 was unveiled by Salman Khan himself. This year’s lineup includes notable names such as Falaq Naaz, Aaliya Siddiqui, and Akanksha Puri, among others.
Falaq Naaz, recognized as the sister of actors Shafaq Naaz and Sheezan Khan, gained popularity through her appearances in various TV shows. One of her notable roles was in the long-running soap opera Sasural Simar Ka, where she portrayed the character of Jhanvi Bhardwaj.
Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, has also been confirmed as a participant in Bigg Boss OTT season 2. The couple, who share two children, has recently been in the news due to troubles in their marriage.
Akanksha Puri, who has been associated with Bigg Boss in the past, is joining the show for the first time this year. Apart from her appearances in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films, she was the winner of the reality show Mika Ki Vohti. Notably, she is best known for her role as Goddess Parvati in Vighnaharta Ganesh and has made guest appearances in previous seasons of Bigg Boss.
Cyrus Broacha, a well-known TV anchor, comedian, political satirist, columnist, podcaster, and author, is the fourth contestant to enter the Bigg Boss house. He made a striking entry dressed as a woman and even danced with Salman Khan on a song from his film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Cyrus Broacha’s pranks and shows like Bakra on MTV and The Week That Wasn’t have earned him significant popularity.
Avinash Sachdev, renowned for his roles as Dev in Chotti Bahu and Shlok Agnihotri in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir, is also among the contestants for Bigg Boss OTT 2.
Another participant in the show is Abhishek Malhan, better known as Fukra Insaan, a multi-talented musician, gamer, and entertainer.
Manisha Rani, a social media star from Bihar, has gained fame through her Bhojpuri posts. She has appeared in shows like The Kapil Sharma Show and Dance India Dance, amassing a huge fan following on Instagram and YouTube.
Palak Purswani, who has been part of several popular TV shows, including Splitsvilla 7 and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, will be joining the show. Interestingly, she was previously in a relationship with fellow contestant Avinash Sachdev.
Jad Hadid, a Lebanese actor based in Dubai and one of the highest-paid models in the Middle East, will also be part of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 cast. He was previously married to fitness model Ramona Khalil, with whom he shares a four-year-old daughter.
Television actress Jiya Shankar, known for her roles as Dr. Iravati “Ira” Pandey in Meri Hanikarak Biwi and Susheela “Susheela” Ruhail Solanki in Kaatelal & Sons, is the second contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 2. She has also co-hosted “Good Night India” on SAB TV and recently appeared in the Marathi movie Ved.
Lastly, actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt made a surprise entry into Bigg Boss OTT 2. As the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt, she initially posed as a judge and was later sent into the house.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the drama, conflicts, and alliances that will unfold among these diverse contestants in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT.
